Dengeki Daisy 55 Summary

Hello!

I am extremely sorry for the late update. I have started working and I am just flat out tired by the time I get home to update. Firstly, I would like all of you to welcome Vala, out translator for Degenki Daisy *round of applause*. She had sent me the translation since last week but I was only able to summarize it in this last week. I don't want to be giving line by line translations because people will get ideas. So I summarized this chapter based on Vala's translation. This is my first time summarizing so I apologize if the descriptions are not accurate. Be nice to me! Yoroshiku.

The chapter starts off with the Teru and gang standing out on the dock to the ship where Morizino is having a party to celebrate his engagement to Rena. Teru and Kurosaki start dissing that the ship reminds them of the Titanic and try to do the Jack and Rose pose in a very wrong way which pisses Riko off. (She even says that the Titanic is a masterpiece and comments that the pose is all wrong). Geez those two are such an idiot couple!! X0 Teru giving out a commentary about how they ended up there then Andou looks at his phone and say that they can start their plan. Kurosaki then calls out to Teru to warn her to be extra careful as she is the one with the most dangerous role in this plan. Teru says that she will be fine and says that Daisy will always be with her. Kurosaki then says that she is a brat and stop being so high and mighty thinking that Daisy will listen to her every whine Ah~tsundere guys are so cute!!XD Teru says: “Even so, you’ll definitely save me right?” Kurosaki hugs her and says of course I will. What’s up with these two being so freaking adorable??XD

At the party people are congratulating Morizono and commenting that his fiancée is very pretty as he migels with them. Rena mother comes to say hello to the two and says that Rena’s father won’t be able to make it tonight because of work. Rena tries to say something to her mother but Morizono stops her. Rena is looking very depressed as her mother excuses herself to go greet the other guest. Moriono comments on how funny it is that Rena mother trust him so much to not realize how sad her daughter is. He also says that of course her friend would not come to save her as well and tells her if she can behave throughout the party, he might consider letting her go home when it’s over. Rena thinks that there’s no way he’ll let her go since he has already committed a crime by kidnapping her and wonders if no one got her message.

Andou greets Morizono; accompanied by Riko saying that he was the board chairman of Rena’s school and since Rena is a student of his school he thought he should come and congratulate them. Morizono asked how he knew about this party and Andou answers that he heard about the party and decided to show, asking there wouldn’t be any problem will there? He also said that there are certain things he would like to talk about with him then walks away, making Morizono flustered. Riko then greets Rena saying that she looks great and she’ll come to chat a little later.

Morizono starts to panic and calls his subordinate “Stagbeetle” to come into the hall. A waitress then comes up to Rena to offer her a drink and realizes that it was Haru. When Rena was about to say something to her, Haru stuffs a sandwich into her mouth, telling her to be a little bit more patient as the “main” event is about to start. Rena starts tearing up seeing all her friends and her mother smiling to her, obviously trying to help her.

The announcer says that the bingo game is about to start. Scene then changes to some ladies trying to pick up a super hottie with blond hair and galsses on. Yes yes it’s super badass smexy Kurosaki looking so freaking hot! Okay I’m getting off track here. They ask if he would like to join then as the game is about to start. Kurosaki declines (IN ENGLISH!! HOW MUCH MORE SMEXY CAN YOU GET??)saying that he is there to represent the president of his company and if they are university students? They apologize saying they don’t understand English and retreats (brush up on your English ladies, you might just meet a super hottie at a party!XDXD) Kurosaki then think to himself that the bingo event is used  as a private network terminal (whatever that means) and the guest were given this (they give out iPhones at a party???DAMN YOU RICH PEOPLE!!) as most of the people are here for a business deal. It’s gonna be about 20 minutes for them to slip in the auction for the Neo Jack Frost.

Then someone comes to stand behind him saying that how impressive it was for him to be able to pull out the exclusive password for the auction screen and ask him how he does it. Kurosaki says he has to reason to tell you. It turns out the person is Chiharu. He then ask why she is here and she is in his way. Chiharu says that he doesn’t have to worry as she is here on urgent business and it has nothing to do with Morizono. She says that he was just asking him out of curiosity but if he tells her, she’ll give him some interesting information.

Kurosaki ponders on it for a while then tells Chiharu that the Neo Jack Frost was set up Rena’s father’s company name and the it’s engineers were Morizono’s people. I’m guessing that if something bad were to happen they could blame it on Rena’s family because it was opened under their name? Something like that, I’m bit lost on this part of the story. Chihharu says she understand and returns the favour by telling him the person that Morizona is talking to is “Stagbeetle”, Morizono’s right-hand man and is the one who is in charge of the whole bingo-auction system. Kurosaki says so that’s how it is?

Chiharu says that in order to show off the power of the Neo Jack Frost, they would have to probably attack a system somewhere just to show how powerful the program is. The attack will surely be announced only minutes before the attack is launched and only Morizono knows the codes to it. If something goes wrong, he can shift the blame on Rena. (Ugh you bastard of a man!!)  So even if Daisy will be able to do something, someone will surely notice it. Kurosaki says then it’s his loss because it seems that there is nothing he can do at the moment.

Morizono says to Stag beetle that he is the main person in the party so he has no time to meddle in those trivial problems and he should just do what he says. Stagbeetle hastily agrees. Teru then greets Morizono saying that it’s been a while. Rena and Morizono are both shocked to see Teru. (She’s all dressed up, and pretty cute too XD I dunno why everybody looks so surprised?) Morizono asks her why she is here since he didn’t invite her. Teru says that she has no business with him and she wants to talk to Rena. Morizono gets all nervous saying that if she’s here to take Rena away, she should forget it because Rena and he are in love and if she wants Rena to be happy she should let them be. Teru goes into crazy ex mode and says how about her happiness and splashes her drink at Rena saying it’s all her fault. Rena losses consciousness while Morizono tries to calm Teru ask if he was playing around with her feelings and all. (At this point I was on the ground clutching my stomach XD I just can’t get enough of crazy Teru XD) As Morizono tries to calm Teru down, Haru (the waitress) comments on how horrible of him to be two-timing when he’s already engaged. This sparks chatter as to how could he is a cheating on his fiancée (Fantastic work Teru!!) and Rena’s mother (with dark aura surrounding her) asks Morizono to explain himself.

Morizono panics and says that he will get rid of Teru and refer her as a “ridiculous girl”. Rena’s mom says what ridiculous girl? Teru is one of Rena’s best friend and ask if he is using his social standing to two time her daughter. Morizono panics even more and ask two waiters to bring Rena away while she takes Teru somewhere else to chat. The announcer tries to avert the guest attention back to bingo game as they all leave. Chiharu ask Kurosaki if Teru was really involved in that way and turn around to find Kurosaki already gone.

In the guest room, Rena awakes to find Kiyoshi (Her knight in shining staff uniform). He asked her if she’s okay. Rena is all confused; the other staff tells them to quiet down as Morizono’s people might catch them. Turn out the other guy is Rena’s father. He goes to confort Rena and says that Teru and co has explained thing properly to him and that the company is safe and the virus has been properly dealt with. He apologizes and thanks Rena for enduring all that has happened but there isn’t much time and they should move fast. Rena says she know what should be done and they need escape from Morizono as soon as possible. She starts undoing her dress and asks if there’s anything to change into. Kiyoshi goes all frantic at the sight of Rena taking of her clothes and Rena says this is not the time for that. (Hahahahaha your innocence is ruined Kiyoshi-kun!)

Scene changes to Teru and Morizono. Teru apologizes to Morizono saying that it was all a lie and she is actually shocked that she could trick him so easily when he has always been so composed.(LOL ^^) He pins her to the wall, telling her to stop fooling around and does she even know the situation she is in after humiliating him like that? Teru says she knows and asks him to stop the Neo Jack Frost because he will just embarrass himslef because it’s just a copy of Daisy’s “Jack Frost”. Morizono snares at Teru statement and tells her it already too late because he has already input the virus into the International Airport’s control tower system. He also says tahat Daisy should be doing something by himself instead of sending her. He inputted Neo Jack Frost into the system that would turn off the runway lights that would surely cause a major disaster for planes that are landing and taking off. He point up to a screen in the room where there is less than 5 minute till the virus is activated. The disaster scene would be broadcasted into the main hall to show the power of the Neo Jack Frost virus and will surely make its price will skyrocket. If Daisy would want to try to stop it he would need the exact location and code for it so there’s no way he could stop it now and it his sure victory.

Teru’s face is hidden behind her bangs and Morizono assumes that she was in despair. Teru says the one over is him, then Morozono notices the screen changed with a message from Daisy; deactivating the virus. Teru tells him that he said one minute before the launch wouldn’t be enough time for the antivirus to work but he has conveniently told him 5 minutes before the virus is activated. Morizono then attacks Teru and pulls off the flowers on her dress where a microphone was hidden and Kurosaki has been listening to the whole conversation. The chapter ends with Kurosaki saying that the first stage of the plan is completed and they can continue with the second stage.

So there you have it. Looks like this story is starting it's climax. I'm actually looking forward to this story. I already have chapter 56 with me but I haven't been able to scan it yet. So I would say it would take about another week or so for the summary of chapter 56 to be updated. I will try to fit in scanning, editing and updating into my schedule. I will also try my best to stay awake after work to scan chapter 56 tomorrow. So till next time!
